I was talking to my Dad this morning about the election results, particularly the poor shameful voter turnout, and we figured out the stats.
59.1% of eligible Canadian voters actually voted on October 14, 2008
37% of those people voted for Harper and the Conservatives
…so that means…
21.8% of eligible Canadian voters elected our current government
